New Colours: Orange & Purple — SD05, SD06 & PB02 Preview

Two new colours have officially arrived in Marvel Hero Rush via Starter Decks SD05 and SD06, plus 21 PB02 promo cards. Here are the key cards, with translations.

Marvel Hero Rush is getting two new colours: Orange and Purple. Both debut through two new Starter Decks — SD05 (Orange) and SD06 (Purple) — plus the PB02 promo pack included in every one of those starter deck boxes. In China, the product is scheduled to release on 16 October 2026. An Indonesian release date hasn't been announced yet.

All card text in this article is a fan translation from the Chinese-language product sheet, following the style of official English card text and the terminology in Comprehensive Rules 1.03. Official names and text may differ once the cards release outside China.

Orange: Pressure from the Back Row & GOTG Synergy

Odin «Guardian of the Nine Realms» works from the BACK position: at the end of each of your turns, one opponent's character in BASE gets Power minus equal to Odin's Power. If that character retreats because of this effect, you draw 1 additional card.

Captain Marvel «Interstellar Guardian» has a COUNTER·ACTI that prunes herself along with 1 opponent's character whose Power is equal or lower — a powerful removal tool on the opponent's turn.

Most of the Orange cards in PB02 focus on the Guardians of the Galaxy: Groot, who can attach GOTG characters from RETREAT; The Milano, which grows bigger based on the Lv of the cards attached to it; and Gamora, who enters the field when your characters' total Power in BATTLE is exactly 6500.

Purple: Feeding on RETREAT for Power

Purple's main theme is pruning your own characters from RETREAT to trigger effects. Thanos «Curse of Wisdom» brings a new ability called RAMPAGE: if his attack successfully hits a weakness, the number of cards going into your Timeline increases by 1. When summoned, he can also prune 1 purple character in your RETREAT to make 1 opponent's character Lv4 or below retreat from BATTLE.

In PB02, three purple Captain Marvel versions strengthen each other from RETREAT, while Thanos «Power of the Stones» becomes a major threat once you have 6 or more Rush Points in your Timeline.

New in the Rules

RAMPAGE — a new ability, distinct from ASSAULT, not yet covered in Comprehensive Rules 1.03. This name is still a provisional translation.
New traits: Eternal Titan, Black Order, The Marvels, Kree Empire, Cabal, Knights of Wundagore, Ravagers, Flerken.
PB02-021 Mary Jane Watson is Yellow, not Orange/Purple — she strengthens Web-trait characters in FRONT during the opponent's turn, making her a fit for the existing Yellow Web deck alongside SP01-021 [The Web of Destiny] Spider-Man and SP01-022 [Phantom Strike] Ghost-Spider.

These cards aren't in the deck builder database yet since they haven't released. Once the official text is out, everything will be added to MHR Deck Lab.
